Although the covid variant ‘omicron’ is on the increase among us, we are still permitted to attend Mass in person.
We need to be more careful than ever in protecting ourselves and others from the spread of this virus. We take the opportunity to remind you of the requirements for entry into Ballygall church.
The two most important requirements are that:
- we sanitise our hands on the way in and out of church
- and wear our masks/visors.
Here in Ballygall people have been so helpful in filling the church from the front towards the back. This helps our stewards as they clean each seat after each Mass. Other churches and premises are not as diligent as here.
Despite being permitted to have full capacity in worship we have opted to keep every second row blocked off and restrict movement in church. Your safety is paramount and we are doing all we can to ensure safe worship
in Ballygall. For this we thank our stewards and our readers/Ministers of the Eucharist for stewarding and cleaning the church after Mass.
Our church continues to be open for private prayer after morning Mass until 7pm approx. It is closed earlier on Saturdays and eve of holy days.
Remember:
- Hand sanitising on way in and out of church
- Face coverings inside the building
- Washing hands at home.
