May, the month of The Rosary

During this month we are asked to think about our Blessed Lady, say special prayers to her, have May Altars, and sing hymns to Mary to tell her how much we love her and to ask her to help us stay close to her son Jesus and to try to live as Jesus shows us.
The Legion of Mary will recite their Rosary on the Green, this Tuesday (27th) at 7.00pm, on Glasnevin Green.

Charity Tax Back

Don’t forget to return your CHY Tax Certs. You can drop them into any of the letter boxes in the porches, at a time that convenient to you. These forms permit us to claim tax incentives under the Charities Act from the Government, which in turn increases our income to fund the upkeep & maintenance of our church.

Divine Mercy Sunday 2025

The Feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated on Sunday 7th April in St. Vincent DePaul Church Marino with Holy Hour from
3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. and Holy Mass at 4.00 p.m. Confessions will be available from 3.00p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

The Divine Mercy Devotion (similar to devotion to the Sacred Heart) had its origin in the now approved revelations made to St. Faustina Kowalska (1905 – 1938). This devotion has the blessing of the Church and was especially promulgated by Pope Johnpaul II who declared Sister Faustina a saint in millennium year.

The Divine Mercy image is the image of Risen Christ on the first Easter, on the evening of the Resurrection, miraculously appearing in the upper room and bestowing on the apostles the power to forgive sins.
