The new Papal Nuncio Archbishop Luis Mariano Montemyor is coming to Ballygall next Sunday. He succeeds Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo who was appointed as Apostolic Nuncio in Prague, Czechia.
Born in Argentina, Archbishop Montemyor has been Apostolic Nuncio in different countries for over 30 years bringing plenty of experience to the role.
We look forward to welcoming him to celebrate the 11.30 Mass on Sunday 1st October and invite you to join us in light refreshments after Mass to mark the occasion.
Also, at the 11.30 Mass Archbishop Montemyor and Fr. Jospeh will be presenting Paddy Vivian, with a Bene Merenti Medal for his outstanding contribution to our parish over the last 50+ years.
Sunday Evening Mass will resume in Our Lady of Victories Church on Sunday 10th September with the Gospel Choir at 6.00pm.
Please note our office hours have now changed. Our Parish Secretary is now available on Monday, Thursdays and Fridays. If you have an urgent enquiry, please see contact details for our priests. Alternatively, if your query is non-urgent you can email our office email@example.com or leave a voicemail on 01 8369291.
This collection, for the support of priests, will be held throughout the summer months. Your support is greatly appreciated. Envelopes are available in all porches.
The next gathering of the Group will be on Thursday 15th June @ 7.30pm in the Oratory. The Group will review and discuss the periodical “SPIRTUALITY”. Copies are available from the parish office. Everyone welcome.
Evening of Reflection for Ministers of the Eucharist @ Our Lady of Victories Church takes place on May 29 @ 8:00pm – 9:00pm.
This is not a ‘training’ evening for new ministers but an opportunity to gather, reflect, pray and sing in the light of this special calling. The Dublin Diocesan Music Group will lead the music. It is hoped that the evening will nourish and deepen our appreciation of the gift of the Eucharist while affirming this aspect of the baptismal vocation to which so many have been called throughout the Diocese.
No need to book. All welcome. Why not come along? Although primarily geared towards Ministers of the Eucharist all those involved in ministry are welcome to come along. You can also join online at www.olv.ie
The Lay Ministry Collection will take place at all Masses this weekend 6th/7th May. It will replace the usual Share Collection.

We are delighted to welcome our new sacristan, Catherine Doyle to our parish team. This position has been vacant since Sadie retired, so it is wonderful for the parish to have this position filled. We wish Catherine every success in this role.
We thank all the volunteers and our Parish Secretary who have helped out during this interim period. We are very fortunate to have such a great team of volunteers in our parish who assist the parish team in all aspects of parish work.
You can catch up with Catherine in the sacristy after Masses.
To celebrate our national Patron, we will have the opportunity to attend Mass on Thursday at 6.30pm (Vigil) and at 10.00am and 11.30 on Friday.
