The Priests, PPC and Liturgy Groups of the Glasnevin Grouping of Parishes have been working together over the past few months in relation to the schedule of masses in our grouping. Due to the reduction in the number of priests we now have serving in our grouping, it was necessary to carry out a full revision of the mass timetable across all five parishes.  The new schedule will commence here on the 1^st January 2020. A schedule of Mass times in the other Grouping parishes will follow.

Saturday Vigil: 6.30pm

Sunday 10.00am & 11.30am Masses.

Monday to Friday 7.25am daily (no change)

Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am daily (no 10.00am Mass on Mondays).

November is Month of the Holy Souls.

By now most people in the parish will have got their “Altar List of the Dead” envelopes. These can be brought back to the church and our loved ones will be remembered in a special way during November and on the First Fridays throughout the year.

Also, if you would like to place a photo or a memorial card of your family and friends who are deceased, we will be organising our Remembrance Wall this week, photos can be left into the parish office and will be held safely.

November is a month when we remember all our dead.  A mass for all the deceased parishioners will be held at 7.30pm on Friday 8^th November. All are welcome. The Altar List of the Dead envelopes are ready to be delivered, if you are available to help distribute them, please enquire in the sacristy.

Now that the summer holidays have ended Mass times will be back to normal here in Ballygall. 10.30am Mass has resumed this weekend and Tuesday mornings will resume on 3^rd. However, with Fr Paddy Jones retiring in Iona Road, this means that there will be a reduced Mass service in the grouping of parishes. The representatives of the 5 PPC’s met recently and a number of suggestions were put out for consideration by the different PPC’s. Our own PPC meet on Wednesday and this will be high on our agenda.
