Ashes will be distributed at both Masses (7.25am and 10.00am) on the day and will be available during the day in the church.
Ash Wednesday is a day of Fast & Abstinence marking the beginning of 40 days of Lent.
The Season of Lent is seen as a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which helps us to prepare for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
