Fr. Joe celebrated his last Mass with us on Sunday 30th June at 11.30. This Mass was followed by light refreshments and a presentation to Fr. Joe.
God our Father, we offer you our sincere thanks and gratitude for Fr. Joe, who has faithfully served you here in Ballygall for ten years. We thank you for the grace you have bestowed upon him and for the gift of his ministry. May he be blessed with strength and courage for the years ahead. May your presence be with him, comforting and inspiring him as he continues his ministry.
We ask that you grant him the grace and wisdom to spread your word and lead with humility and compassion. May he be filled with joy and peace as he continues to serve you and your people. May his ministry continue to provide hope, healing and spiritual renewal. Amen.
Fr. Kevin Bartley, currently based in Rush, will begin here in early July as Moderator of the Partnership of Parishes with responsibility for Ballygall & Iona Road.
