The Risen Lord by Chinese artist He Qi<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 children\u00a0 as\u00a0 always\u00a0 helped\u00a0 us\u00a0 to\u00a0 celebrate\u00a0 most\u00a0 meaningfully\u00a0 the\u00a0 high moments\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Liturgical\u00a0 year.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Holy\u00a0Thursday<\/u><\/strong>,\u00a0they gathered\u00a0around\u00a0the\u00a0altar with Fr. Harry.\u00a0Their\u00a0re-enactment of\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0the Last Supper\u00a0 left\u00a0 us\u00a0 in\u00a0 no\u00a0 doubt\u00a0 about\u00a0 Jesus’\u00a0 message\u00a0 of\u00a0 Love\u00a0 and\u00a0 Service.\u00a0 The\u00a0dressing\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0altar\u00a0with a beautiful cloth depicting these scenes, which was made by them, added so much to the occasion. The celebration of this Eucharist was much appreciated by the congregation present.<\/p>\n

Good\u00a0Friday<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0saw\u00a0all\u00a0the\u00a0children\u00a0back\u00a0again. They\u00a0took us through the stations\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 cross,\u00a0 acting\u00a0 out\u00a0 each\u00a0 one\u00a0\u00a0 in\u00a0 a\u00a0 dignified\u00a0 and\u00a0 reflective manner.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Easter\u00a0Sunday<\/u><\/strong>, we were greeted by a lovely Easter garden they had created which displays new beginnings and nature. We felt\u00a0 the\u00a0 joy\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Resurrection\u00a0 with\u00a0 the\u00a0 heartfelt singing\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Alleluia\u00a0 by\u00a0 all\u00a0 the\u00a0 children\u00a0 as\u00a0 they\u00a0 waved\u00a0 their\u00a0 yellow\u00a0 banners. They\u00a0 dramatized\u00a0 the\u00a0 Gospel\u00a0 highlighting\u00a0 the\u00a0 wonder\u00a0 and\u00a0 awe\u00a0 of\u00a0 the Easter\u00a0 story.<\/p>\n

Many\u00a0 thanks\u00a0 to\u00a0 all\u00a0 the\u00a0 children,\u00a0 their\u00a0 parents\u00a0 and\u00a0 to\u00a0 those\u00a0 who\u00a0 helped\u00a0 in any\u00a0 way\u00a0 to\u00a0 prepare\u00a0 them\u00a0 for\u00a0 these\u00a0 ceremonies.\u00a0 Thanks also to Fr. Joe,\u00a0Fr. Harry, Sr. Irene\u00a0and\u00a0all\u00a0involved\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0choir\u00a0who\u00a0added\u00a0so much\u00a0to the celebrations.
