Turn left onto Parnell St.<br \/>\nTurn right onto Parnell Square West. Continue onto Granby Row and cross Dorset St onto St Mary\u2019s Place North\/R135. Keep left to stay on St Mary\u2019s Pl N\/R135. Turn left onto Western Way\/R135.<br \/>\nTurn right onto Phibsborough Rd\/R108\/R135. Keep right to continue on Prospect Ave\/R108\/R135. Turn left onto Botanic Rd\/R108. Continue onto Griffith Ave\/R102.<br \/>\nTurn right onto Ballygall Rd East and Church will be on your right after Texaco garage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From North using M50:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt junction\u00a04, exit onto\u00a0R108\u00a0toward\u00a0Ballymun,\u00a0Turn\u00a0right\u00a0onto\u00a0Glasnevin Ave\/R103,\u00a0At the roundabout, take the\u00a01st\u00a0exit onto\u00a0Beneavin Drive,\u00a0Continue onto\u00a0Ballygall Rd East and Church will be on your left after St Kevin\u2019s Secondary School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From South using M50:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt junction 5, exit following signs for Finglas.\u00a0Continue onto\u00a0North Rd\/R135,\u00a0At the roundabout, take the\u00a02nd\u00a0exit onto\u00a0Finglas Rd\/R135.\u00a0Take the\u00a0R103\u00a0ramp to\u00a0Finglas\/Cappagh\/Dublin Port.\u00a0Turn\u00a0left\u00a0onto\u00a0Seamus Ennis Rd\/R103.\u00a0At the roundabout, take the\u00a03rd\u00a0exit onto\u00a0Beneavin Drive.\u00a0Continue onto\u00a0Ballygall Rd East and Church will be on your left after St Kevin\u2019s Secondary School.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Bus<\/strong><br \/>\nBallygall Church is located on Ballygall Road East which is serviced by the 9 and 83 Bus Routes directly, and the 4\/4a, 11\/ 11a\/b\/c, 13\/13a and 9 Buses are all about a 10 minute walk away down St. Canices Road if you depart the Bus at the Topaz Petrol Station on the Ballymun Road.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A little bit of history<\/strong><br \/>\nBallygall is a suburb approximately 4 miles north of Dublin City Centre.\u00a0 There are many well known landmarks in and around Ballygall including the Botanic Gardens, the Met Office, Glasnevin Cemetery, Dunsink Observatory and many more.<br \/>\nBallygall is derived from the Irish\u00a0<span lang=\"ga\" xml:lang=\"ga\"><em>Baile na nGall<\/em><\/span>, meaning\u00a0<em>Town of the Foreigners.\u00a0<\/em>The name comes from the old pathway from the Tolka river uphill to Finglas, where there was an early monastic settlement, so the route may have been in use as early as the fifth century AD.
