Lord God
With joy we welcome our new Pope Leo XIV
You have called him to serve your Church
Give him the wisdom to lead and the courage to speak
Let his heart stay open to your will
May his words be clear, and his actions steady
Help him to carry the weight of his task without fear
Let him work for truth and unity among Your People
Keep him close to Christ and strong in faith
Guide him each day by Your Spirit
