A Journey Towards Baptism

The Rite of Christian Initiation is a process that accompanies a person who seeks or enquires about being baptized into our church. The person enquiring is invited to be accompanied by a group of people who are members of the parish community and have been trained in the process. The earliest stage of the journey is called the Stage of Enquiry or the Pre Catechumenate. During this stage the person enquiring is known as the Candidate. Read More

 

On Easter Saturday at the Vigil Mass our Catechumen Zaneta received the three Sacraments of Initiation, Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist. She was fully received into the Catholic Church after a year of committed preparation.
