The members of the Funeral Ministry group are available to support the bereaved family and to help prepare the funeral liturgy for their deceased family member. They will help choose readings, prayers of the faithful for the funeral Mass and will attend the removal to the church. Each month they organise a Months’ Mind Mass at the Saturday 6.30pm Mass for those who have died the previous month. In November they arrange the annual Mass for all those who have died in the parish during the previous year and all the bereaved families are invited to attend this celebration.
